Utopus Apps

King Utopus, a founder of Utopia, created this island with a belief in an ideal society. We follow that legacy in terms, that the key to success is creativity and hard work, which leads to near-perfect results.

Utopus Apps specializes in development of business applications and provision of innovative solutions for different sectors. We also develop SaaS solutions for SMEs. By now the company has developed more than 20 projects. We have also participated in some of the world’s largest exhibitions, such as CTIA Enterprise & Apps in United States.

Although Utopus Apps is a relatively young company (it was founded in 2011), its team managed to find new clients and establish partnerships outside Lithuania: in the United States, Sweden, The Netherlands, Norway, Germany, Denmark, Russia and other countries.

E-taksi – is one of the most commonly used app in Lithuania. This project has won awards for the best business idea, best business plan, Best mobile app (Global Startup Challenge 2010).

Bribe Spot – Solution got featured by ReadWriteWeb, WSJ, NYTimes, TNW, BBC with the message being spread that petty corruption can be defeated – one bribe report at a time.

How does the SME think it could benefit from other sectors' input?

We think that biggest benefit will be an experience in new sectors and new countries.

What can the SME offer other sectors?

We can offer anything that different sectors might need: mobile planning and technical specification, UI and UX design, development, bug testing, uploading to the market, usability optimization and support.

We are ready to share all the information and know-how that we have.

Our business is based on innovation and new product development, so we strongly believe that we have big potential for cross innovation.
