Manufacturing, Retail & Leisure, Society & Social Environment

Were any relationships rewarding?

Projects including some kind of business development often turn out to be interesting. Our definition of design and its processes are wide and looking back at projects seeing strategies, concepts and designs in action are very rewarding.

How does the SME think it could benefit from other sectors' input?

We are very fond of all kind of input! We often use cyclic methods where external input shape the following process, so the value of input should not be underestimated.

Input from other sectors will also give us the opportunity to adjust/reformulate our offers/services to suit sectors we haven’t worked with before.

What can the SME offer other sectors?

Design is often related to the appearance of things, but we have a holistic view on design where we look at companies from a wider perspective. For us design can be used as strategies – something that creates values in longer terms and not only new appearances.

To what extent would the SME be prepared to share information?

We have an open posture to sharing information.

How would the SME describe its potential for cross innovation?

We work with SME located in other parts of the contry (mostly Småland since lots of manufacturing is located there) – we are for that reason used to having long distance relations with our clients. Our wider definition of design makes us multidisciplinary and we work with branding, strategy and product design. Also, we are relatively new established and are therefore interested in new business opportunities and contacts.

Out of the 11 Cross Innovation Partner Cities, are there any particular cities with which the SME would like to form a new relationship?
Amsterdam, Linz

Are there any particular organisations outside the SMEs home country, with which it would like to connect?

We find all of the included cities interesting, but we have both studied in the Netherlands and are familiar with the culture and way of life. We also have connections with an Austrian designer that could become useful if matched with companies in Linz. At this point we are not familiar with any organisations that could be of interest.
