Social WiFi

Social WiFi helps businesses connect to their clients. It is the most advanced WiFi service in the world, that transforms free WiFi into a modern communication and marketing tool, providing direct business advantages to its owners. With its innovative use of WiFi, SocialWiFi provides its clients with modern marketing campaigns, tools improving quality of customer service, social media recommendations, customer identification and innovative communication tools.

The tools offered by the service were designed to be modern as well as effective. Social WiFi Facebook notifications achieve the efficiency of 25% to 47%, compared to the 1%-4% effectiveness of traditional marketing campaigns. Surveys sent to customers are an extremely efficient tool for assessing the quality of customer service (with a 35% response rate).

Social WiFi also focuses on user-centred communication possibilities. Direct massages to customers, live customised promotions, customer databases and statistics. Those are only some of the features developed by Social Wifi together with their clients to meet their needs. The company engages in an ongoing innovation process, aiming to create communities around various urban spaces.

Were any relationships rewarding?

ICT is a natural partner as an internet provider. A lot of innovative joint activities with this sector sparked development in SocialWifi. On the other hand, the HoReCa sector is so far the most significant target group for SocialWifi. The relationship with financial services sector was exceptionally rewarding (more details in Section 13).

How does the SME think it could benefit from other sectors' input?

Contact with companies from other sectors is the main inspiration for development for SocialWiFi. New areas mean new ideas and such partnerships stimulate our creativity. Carrying out an innovative project with other sectors would open new possibilities of developing our services as well as new business opportunities. Internationalisation is currently our main priority and, therefore, cooperation with companies from other markets would help us understand their needs.

What can the SME offer other sectors?

Social WiFi offers solutions to every sector, company, organisation wishing to create a dynamic community around the spaces it operates in and to utilize it for modern interaction with users/customers and for new marketing opportunities.

To what extent would the SME be prepared to share information?

As long as it doesn’t concern restricted technology that is the core of the company’s activity, SocialWiFi is prepared to share its knowledge.

How would the SME describe its potential for cross innovation?

SocialWiFi cross innovates in its work on a daily basis – cooperation with other sectors brings new, sometimes surprising solutions to challenging problems, as well as constant development of SocialWiFi services and market approach.

Out of the 11 Cross Innovation Partner Cities, are there any particular cities with which the SME would like to form a new relationship?
Berlin, Tallinn

Are there any particular organisations outside the SMEs home country, with which it would like to connect?

We would very much like to forge a deeper relationship with MikroTik from Tallinn.

Deutsche Telekom would be a very important partner for us, due to our planned focus on the penetration of German market.

It would also be very interesting to connect with partner organisations participating in the Cross Innovation project. City space is our natural environment, we already have formed very rewarding relationships with cities in Poland, it would be great to cooperate on European level to engage people of different cities in experiencing urban spaces to the fullest.
