Occhio del riciclone. Soc.coop A.r.l.

Occhio del Riclone is an organisation founded through the synergy among one cooperative, one onlus associations and regional associations in Lazio.

Mission: analysis, experimentation and implementation of reuse process with pre- and post-consumption waste.

Many research and educational projects have been carried out by Occhio del Riciclone in the environmental, social inclusion fields.


Occhio del Riciclone R&D laboratories’ activities focused on re-use of materials intended to become waste. Cross-fertilization between experts in different applicative sectors guarantees new solutions to emerge.

Occhio del Riciclone working groups include many artist, stylists, designers.

Fashion and design is the business development direction most valuable for Occhio del Riciclone.

Long-term expertise in tailoring and dressmaking fostered the BeltBag trademark creation (among other initiatives, the re-use of safety belts provided by car-wreckers for bags and fashion accessories has to be mentioned). Moreover, implementation of on-demand projects for organisations and firms is also connected to re-use based design.

Re-use would become the best example of environmental care, creative experimentation of waste management, economic sensitiveness towards exploitation of waste materials.

Some prestigious clients are Doctors Without Borders, Greenpeace, Legambiente, WWF, Ikea.
