MATELIER Architecture was born 3,5 years ago in Lisbon, Portugal, trough the meeting of 4 Architects, sharing the same desire to develop finelly worked projects, in beauty and accuracy.

Our team is composed by Sylvain GRASSET of French nationality, Frederico Santos of Swiss nationality, Miguel Alves and Silvia FERNANDES of Portuguese nationality.

Trough the combined experience and different approaches we have managed to obtain a good sense of the local market – its opportunities as well as constraints. By working on behalf of French, Swiss, Russian, amongst other clients willing to invest in Portugal, we learned to go beyond the boundaries of our business; to have a broader visionof the projects. Today, we have full control the entire process, from the first sketch to the last brick, and we have partnered with the best professionals in their field in order to respond pragmatically to the clients expectations.

We favor an open and pluralistic reflection in ou projects, in which we present:

– Multiple Nationalities (Switzerland, Portugal and France);

– Multiple paths (Professional experience in 6 different countries);

– Multiple interventions in Architecture, Interior Design and Graphic Design);

– Diversity of Projects ( Projects currently underway in France, Switzerland and Portugal);

– Diversity of Scale (From the inside of an apartment complex or the industrial buildings);

We see architecture as a synthesis between creativity and the art of building, placing man at the center of all things.

Our team is young, dynamic, hardworking and willing to face new challenges.
