ByBorre.

ByBorre was founded by Dutch designer Borre Akkersdijk in 2010 after graduating from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2009. ByBorre mostly works on developing textiles as they developed a new way to change production processes within the mattress industry to make clothing out of this.

In 2011 ByBorre won the Inspiration award and had its first show, later that year, during Paris Fashion Week.

While being based in Amsterdam, ByBorre showed his second collection during Amsterdam Fashion Week in 2012 . The same year Borre Akkersdijk also won the Dutch Design Awards – Young designer of the Year. At the moment ByBorre is working on a new collection and projects for various brands like NIKE, Maarten Baas, Louis Vuitton and others.

There are a lot off different ways to use textiles and every sector has it own needs that could give a totally new view on the things that are allready in one and others hands

We work with existing production processes and see if we could get more out of them. The production process is at least as nice as the products coming from them.
