Performing & Visual Arts, Music

Which other Growth Sectors has the SME worked with?
Healthcare (Life Sciences & Medical), Tourism, Public Administration & Commerce

Were any relationships rewarding?

The relationship we have started with the city of Lisbon is until now satisfactory.

Together with the city of Lisbon we are designing a plan for defining, structuring,

legalizing and reorganizing the street art (graffiti) & street performances (buskers). An

innovative plan that will reward the city, its citizens and its tourist with a unique urban

experience.

The relationship with the events industry (conferences, festivals and corporate events)

is very satisfactory as they represent over 70% of our sales in 2013.

How does the SME think it could benefit from other sectors' input?

Book a Street Artist is lacking an optimized booking platform (digital service) that

allow us invest our resources into promoting and marketing our services while

providing a more automated booking process. At the same time partnership with

other European cities in order to promote, organize and better use public spaces

with art would maximize our social impact.

What can the SME offer other sectors?

Our company is a colorful startup that brings entertainment to many. E.g. Many of our

artists serve as comedians and clowns in hospitals and health institutions.

Our graffiters and street performers make the urban spaces more bright, more

attractive and happier, while potentially generating attractive tourism alternatives and

reactivating “dead” spots in the cities.

Our business and street art knowledge couple with a possible partnership with

organizations in the digital sector will allow us build a more efficient online booking

platform, that in return will make our social plans self-sustainable.

To what extent would the SME be prepared to share information?

We are open to share as much information and knowledge as possible as long as our

business model, postitioning, intellectual property, data, and strategy are not at risk.

How would the SME describe its potential for cross innovation?

Due to our highly diverse team and artist database, we accumulate a great level of

knowledge, motivation, activism, and ideas. We are more than happy to explore new

partnerships and believe that sharing and collective movements can make this world a

better place. On Cross Innovation we are sure to find people with the same mind set

and energy. We see ouselves as a great fit among all the colorful and creative projects

listed on Cross Innovation.

Out of the 11 Cross Innovation Partner Cities, are there any particular cities with which the SME would like to form a new relationship?
