Bloomingfern is a transmedia production company based in Estonia. Our work focuses on creating narratives that span across multiple platforms.

We believe in the role of storytelling as the element tying various media outlets together, creating an immersive and engaging story universe.

Wherever you are working on a full feature or on a marketing or social project, our aim is to create immersion, engagement and buzz around the stories we are telling.

We offer development and planning of cross-media campaigns, innovative audiovisual solutions, experimental narratives as well as their implementation.

That relationship has given us an opportunity to participate in a large project which involves different sectors (tourism, film-making, media) and in which our company plays a significant role.

How does the SME think it could benefit from other sectors' input?

1)The sharing of the overall know-how:

Exchanging ideas can benefit both parties to broaden their knowledge on how to cope with problems they might have in their everyday work or approach them from a different angle.

2) Finding new markets/partners:

Networking is an important part of entrepreneurship as this is the way to actually determine the needs of your potential clients and getting to know what others can offer. We hope that this kind of co-op would benefit us with helping the realisation of projects that require new type of partnership models and input from various sectors. E.g. if a project consists of a mobile app, a viral campaign on social networks featuring video content, printed materials etc., it already involves several needed skills that one company does not possess on its own.

To what extent would the SME be prepared to share information?

We are prepared to share the new ideas, explain our projects and working methods etc. We might not be able to share the specific data i.e financial information on ongoing projects.

How would the SME describe its potential for cross innovation?

We are a starting company dealing with crossmedia strategies mainly for film production so far. Our interest lies also in different types of crossmedia campaigns that might be for social reasons, but also related to a service or a certain product. These kinds of activities require an input from various sectors and therefore talking to entrepreneurs from different fields would help us determine the possibilities and limits for such activities and plan our own efforts more precisely.

Out of the 11 Cross Innovation Partner Cities, are there any particular cities with which the SME would like to form a new relationship?

Are there any particular organisations outside the SMEs home country, with which it would like to connect?

We are searching for partnership in particular with web-developers, mobile developers, film-makers and production companies, advertising agencies, publishing houses, social media start-ups, technological start-ups. The city and the country is not relevant.
